Delete your data
You can delete everything Jupiter holds about you at any time. You don't need to give a reason, and it works even if you never tapped Accept on Jupiter's first message.
In the chat
Open your chat with Jupiter on Telegram or WhatsApp and send /delete.
Jupiter asks: "Delete everything I hold about you? This cannot be undone." Tap Delete everything, or Keep it if you change your mind.
Jupiter replies: "Done. I'm deleting everything I hold about you now."
If you use Jupiter on both Telegram and WhatsApp, send /delete in each.
By email
Email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data". Tell us whether you use Telegram or WhatsApp, and your Telegram username or WhatsApp number, so we can find you. We may ask you to confirm from your chat with Jupiter, so we know the request is really yours. We'll tell you when it's done, within one month at the latest.
What gets deleted
First, Jupiter destroys the encryption key that protects your details in its vault, so nothing encrypted with it can ever be read again. Then it deletes:
- your link to your Telegram or WhatsApp account, your profile, phone number and username, and any place on a sign-up waitlist;
- everything in your vault: saved places, contacts and locations you shared, booking details, traveller and passport details, links, and your Uber login, password and session;
- your conversations, their summaries and the AI's working records;
- your bookings, rides, trips, orders, reminders and tracked parcels and flights, and any follow-ups waiting to be sent;
- your calendar and email connections: Jupiter first cancels its access at Google, then deletes its keys, any email waiting for your tap and its records of the events it added;
- your consents and settings;
- what Jupiter holds in memory for your conversations, like facts about restaurants and pages from links you sent.
What we keep
Only records that can't be linked back to you:
- A note that a deletion happened: a random internal ID (not your name, number or chat account) with the dates it was created and deleted, so the deletion can be checked.
- Our security logs, which record by random IDs and codes when Jupiter shared a detail with a company (for example "shared a phone number with Uber") and what happened to Uber rides. The entries stay, but the details they pointed to are gone.
- Usage records, like "a message was answered" with its timing and cost. They move to a new random ID that isn't linked to you or stored anywhere else.
- Our system logs, which hold random IDs, codes and timings, never your messages or details. They are rotated automatically as they fill up.
We don't keep anything else about you.
How long it takes
Deletion starts within seconds of your tap and normally finishes in under a minute. If a step fails, Jupiter retries it automatically. We don't currently keep backups of the service's database, so a deleted account can't come back from one.
What Jupiter can't delete for you
- Your chat history in Telegram or WhatsApp. Those apps keep their own copy. Delete the chat in the app to remove it there.
- Bookings and purchases with other companies. Restaurants, Uber, hotels, airlines and tour companies keep the details you confirmed with them. Deleting your Jupiter data doesn't cancel a booking. Contact them directly to cancel or to delete their copy.
- Events in your calendar and emails you sent. They are in your own Google account. Delete them there if you want them gone.
- Our old email waitlist. If you joined the waitlist on this website before it closed, email us to remove your address. /delete in the chat doesn't cover it.
- What other services already received to answer your requests, such as our AI provider. They keep it under their own terms: our AI provider, for example, doesn't train on it and deletes it after a limited period.
Smaller changes
- /details shows your booking details (name, mobile and email) and lets you change them.
- "unlink Uber" disconnects Uber and deletes your saved Uber login.
- "disconnect my calendar" or "disconnect my email" cancels Jupiter's access at Google and deletes its keys. You can also remove Jupiter from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions.
- "stop" stops reminders.
- /new starts a fresh conversation. It doesn't delete anything.
